As part of our 30 Day Deodorant Challenge, we’re encouraging you to sweat it during winter in any way that suits you best. We’ve compiled a short list of simple ways you can get active during the colder months that are both fun and trending for 2017.

1. Live Stream Classes
Cost: Free to $
Intensity: Easy to Moderate
What’s so good about it?

This is one to watch in 2017. These are fitness classes that you can do at home that are live-streamed or are on-demand via the internet. The classes are free or low cost, and they easily fit into your busy schedule. Choose from dance classes to yoga or cardio, whatever your fitness level is and what the space in your home allows!

2. Functional Fitness
Cost: FREE
Intensity: Easy
What’s so good about it?

Simple name. Simple fitness. This physical activity is nothing new. It includes everyday activities that get your heart beating a little faster. Whether it’s shoveling snow, cleaning the house or walking to the grocery store vs. driving, these daily activities easily add up!

3. Mindful Yoga
Cost: Free to $
Intensity: Easy to Moderate
What’s so good about it?

It works your muscles and your mind. We probably don’t need to list the benefits of yoga, but what we will mention is that yoga is an accessible wellness activity whatever your fitness level is. As we move into 2017, the emphasis on mindful yoga becomes more common and is frequently built into programs, helping you to balance your body and mind.

4. Group Training
Cost: $ to $$
Intensity: Moderate
What’s so good about it?

Sometimes things are better when done together. Group training, in either large or small classes, motivates and keeps you accountable when you may be more inclined to swap sweating it for slouching on the couch. You can choose from a variety of fitness, such as barre and dance, to disco spin classes (yes, you heard us right!) and high-intensity training.

5. Body Weight Training
Cost: FREE
Intensity: Easy to Moderate
What’s so good about it?

There are three great things you need to know about body weight training. 1. It doesn’t require equipment. 2 You can do it anywhere. 3. You can do it anytime. So what is it? Well, they are simple exercises that rely on your own body weight for resistance. Examples are squats, push-ups, jumping jacks or planks. Build a short routine of 4-6 of these, for 15-30 minutes each day, and you’ll be busting a little sweat on the regular.

6. Downhill Skiing
Cost: $$
Intensity: Moderate
What’s so good about it?

Sliding on snow; downhill skiing is one of the most traditional Canadian winter sports. Downhill skiing (at any ability level) engages almost every muscle in the body, increases heart rate, while also putting a smile on your face. The activity combines fitness with big views, allowing you to marvel at the natural beauty of Mother Nature while also working your body.

7. Ice Skating
Cost: FREE to $
Intensity: Easy
What’s so good about it?

Rosy cheeks, fresh air and finding your balance! Ice skating makes everyone feel like a kid again. It’s a great activity to do with your family or friends, which makes it never feel like exercise.

I like the solid deodorant! We need more chemical free options! Love the scent free shampoo and conditioner. The only one my daughter and I can use!
