Introducing Rocky Reserve Sea Salt Soak & Sea Salt Scrub—crafted with hand-harvested, mineral-rich Canadian sea salt, blended with natural botanicals, and packaged sustainably, right here in our Canmore workshop.
The rugged shores of Vancouver Island provide the perfect conditions for crafting exceptional sea salt. The combination of glacier-fed waters and old-growth forests creates a natural balance of minerals, resulting in a salt rich in over 40 natural trace elements.
Free from additives, this sea salt remains unspoiled—just as nature intended. This unique “merroir” (a term borrowed from wine-making that describes how an environment shapes a product’s flavor and composition) makes VISS one of the finest in the world.

Despite Canada’s vast coastline, sea salt production didn’t exist before 2009.
That changed when VISS put Canadian sea salt on the map, becoming one of the country’s first producers.
Their commitment to sustainability goes beyond sourcing, ensuring that every grain of salt reflects the natural richness of Canada’s Pacific waters. VISS operates within a full circular economy, upcycling every drop of seawater. The by-products, such as fresh water and concentrated brine, are repurposed to support agriculture and artisanal uses.
Crafted through a meticulous hand-harvesting process in small batches, their salt undergoes micro-filtering and energy-efficient boiling techniques to minimize impact while maintaining superior quality.
The new Sea Salt Soak & Sea Salt Scrub are available in our signature Rocky Reserve scents—Flora, Grove and Rind. Our in-house herbalist curated each one to deliver a sensorial experience that deeply connects us to the Earth.
Flora - Fresh rose geranium calms while vitamin-rich rosehip oil soothes skin.

Rocky Reserve Sea Salt Scrub is crafted with Vancouver Island Fine Sea Salt, with 1-3 mm fine crystals, hand-harvested in small batches.
