Ingredients are incredible, but sadly this didn't work for me

Let me first just say: these are the cleanest hair products I have ever been able to find. The price is a bit high, but definitely not the worst, especially with the quality of ingredients! I really, really wanted to love this product. The scent is really nice, fresh and slightly minty, not overpowering. But the application left a bit to be desired, in my experience.

I have thick, chest-length, wavy/curly (2B-3A), low porosity, medium coarseness hair. I tried these products one at a time in order to most clearly see their effects, so I didn't actually get to try them together, since I tried the conditioner first and ran out of it too quickly.

The conditioner didn't give me much slip for detangling, and I had to use a ton of it to feel like it was soaking into my hair at all. I will say, it did make my hair soft and shiny when dry. So maybe I would use it as a leave-in or something. But it did not make a good detangler.

The shampoo was a bit too drying for me and it seemed to make my hair even harder to detangle. Despite the drying effect, it didn't seem to do the best job at cleaning the oil from my naturally-already-somewhat-dry hair. It did okay, but not well enough to justify the price.

Neither product had any effect on my post-wash dandruff, but they didn't make it worse, either. I was hoping the shampoo would help my scalp more, though.

Overall it is clear that these are very high-quality products and I do love the company itself; these just didn't work for me personally. I will continue my search for clean hair products that work for my unruly hair.

Best Shampoo/Conditioner Combo I've ever used

I normally never leave product reviews but I felt I had to for this shampoo and conditioner. After trying probably 20+ different natural hair care products I can confidently say this combo is the best I have ever used. It doesn't leave my hair too dry or greasy, it keeps a perfect balance. I highly recommend giving it a try.
