What makes the day cream smell so good?

We receive many comments on how wonderfully delicate, light and fruity the Pomegranate Day Cream smells. But what exactly makes it smell so good if it’s not a synthetic fragrance? Is it the pomegranate?

You might be surprised to hear that Pomegranate Oil has little to no scent. It is a carrier oil that is produced by pressing pomegranate seeds. So what about the scent? That would be the combination of jasmine and citrus essential oils - Blood Orange peel, Grapefruit peel and Bergamot fruit to be exact. Jasmine possesses an exotic, sensual and floral fragrance. It is often associated with symbols of love, purity and nobility. While it can tend to overpower, the melange with fruity citrus brings a refreshing, crisp lightness to balance the floral notes, resulting in a beautifully uplifting scent that is so delicious it’s hard to resist!
