Great Home Uses for Eucalyptus Essential Oil

One thing is for sure; nothing conjures up the sense of clean like the smell of Eucalyptus. This powerhouse essential oil not only smells clean it’s also anti-fungal, antibacterial, antiviral and a deodorizer. What better way to distil that fresh clean aroma throughout your home than with eucalyptus essential oil. Here’s a few favourites:

Surface Cleaner:Fill a regular size spray bottle with distilled or filtered water. Add a dash of natural dish washing liquid and a capful of eucalyptus essential oil. Shake gently to mix and voila.... you have yourself a wonderful, 100% natural cleaner for all surfaces.

Floor Cleaner:Just add two capfuls of Eucalyptus essential oil to a bucket of hot water and a dash of white vinegar, turn on some fun tunes and mop away. Professional dance moves not included.

Disinfectant:Mix 50ml of eucalyptus oil with at least 1 litre of water and use on any surface that needs a germ buster.

Carpet Freshener:Using one cup of baking soda mixed with 3-4 drops of eucalyptus oil, sprinkle over carpet or rug and vacuum away. You get this amazing hit of that fresh eucalyptus smell. Happy Cleaning!
